School Physical Therapist

Overview School Services School Physical Therapist position located in Wilson, New York. This is a local contract position beginning ASAP for a 13‑week duration, with 2 hours of work per week (2‑hour shifts). Employment type: Local Contract. Responsibilities Develop and implement educational and therapy programs based on evaluation results. Evaluate students to identify needs and determine eligibility for therapy services. Collect therapy data, maintain accurate student records, and monitor progress toward student goals. Work collaboratively and communicate with the school interdisciplinary team and student guardians. May be asked to travel between school locations. May be asked to supervise assistants. Compensation $43.00 – $46.30 per hour. 7‑week contracts with a $3,000 assignment bonus available under certain conditions; ask a recruiter for details. Pay package is based on 2‑hour shifts; tax‑free stipend amount to be determined. Qualifications New York Physical Therapist license. American Heart Association BLS certification. Prior experience with pediatrics or in a school setting is preferred but not required. Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
