Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from accredited schools approved by the APTA
• Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
• BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC
• One-on-one treatment experience required

Assignment Details

• 40-minute treatment sessions
• Approximately 12 patients per day

Location Highlights

Franklin, North Carolina offers mountain access with Great Smoky Mountains National Park about 35 miles away and Nantahala National Forest surrounding much of Macon County. Downtown Franklin features the Scottish Tartans Museum and the Franklin Gem and Mineral Museum, and the area is known for gem mining sites and hiking routes such as the nearby Appalachian Trail. Travelers can also reach Dry Falls and Bridal Veil Falls in Highlands within about 25 miles, while Asheville is roughly 70 miles away for additional dining, arts, and airport access.
