About Us

Dream Believe Inspire Home Care is a Medicaid-approved non-medical home care agency serving Marion County and surrounding areas of Indiana. We are passionate about helping seniors and individuals with disabilities live safely and with dignity in their own homes. We are currently seeking a dedicated, compassionate Personal Care Aide to serve a client in the Westfield area.

Position Overview

This is a full-time, single-client assignment providing hands-on personal care and homemaker support to an elderly female client in her home. The client lives with someone who is unable to assist with her care needs, so you will be the primary support presence throughout the day. This position offers stable, consistent 40-hour weeks with a long-term client.

Key Responsibilities

• Bathing and personal hygiene assistance (daily)
• Dressing and grooming assistance (morning and evening)
• Full meal preparation 3 times daily (client cannot participate)
• Meal setup and feeding support at each meal
• Medication reminders and administration monitoring (3–4 times daily)
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Transportation assistance to appointments and errands (3–4 trips weekly; must be comfortable assisting with wheelchair and ambulatory transfers)
• Shopping and errand completion
• Phone and communication assistance
• Appointment scheduling support
• Community engagement facilitation

Client Notes

• Equipment in home: walker, wheelchair, hospital bed, bed rails, shower chair, cane, blood pressure monitor
• Current medications include blood pressure medications, heart medications, and blood thinners — caregiver must be comfortable with medication reminders and monitoring
• Cognitive impairment present — patience, redirection, and safety supervision are essential throughout the day

Requirements

• Prior experience as a PCA, CNA, HHA, or caregiver strongly preferred
• Comfortable working with elderly clients with cognitive impairment
• Reliable transportation and valid Indiana driver's license required
• Ability to assist with wheelchair transfers and transport client to appointments
• Ability to pass a background check
• Must be punctual, dependable, and compassionate
• Indiana Medicaid provider enrollment or willingness to complete enrollment
