Critical Care Registered Nurse

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, 3x12-hour schedule from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM with on-call requirements.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Critical Care Registered Nurse with a background in Trauma Level I and ICU care. The candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to adult and pediatric patients in a fast-paced environment. Experience in Critical Care or Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) is required, and familiarity with Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU), Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU), and Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit (CTICU) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medication and monitor patient progress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Perform critical assessments and engage in evidenced-based practice to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Manage complex medical devices and emergency situations effectively.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, while providing compassionate and patient-centered care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must hold a valid RN license.
• Certifications: TNCC, PALS, ACLS.
• A minimum of 2 years of related critical care experience is required.
• Charge nurse experience is preferred.
