Job Summary:
Inpatient Physical Therapist (PT) position located in Bradenton, Florida. The role involves providing comprehensive inpatient physical therapy services to patients in a Level II Trauma Center. Candidates are required to bring their active licensure on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Required Qualifications: Active Physical Therapist (PT) license, active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, willingness to work on inpatient rehabilitation (IRF) unit, critical thinking and clinical reasoning skills. No minimum years of experience required.
• Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The position supports therapy staff services across an entire facility, including IRF and acute care units. The workload includes evaluation, treatment, discharge planning, team conferences, and family training. The unit features two therapy gyms, equipment such as Vector, LiteGait, and an ADL apartment. The facility employs a team of 17 full-time and part-time physical therapists, with an average inpatient census of 240 patients. The therapist will work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital staff.
