Human Resources Specialist (Classification)As a Human Resources Specialist (Classification) at the GS-0201-13 some of your typical work assignments may include:Adjudicates classification appeals for the Department by analyzing appeal records, position descriptions, organizational structures, classification standards and applicable policies; and prepares well-supported appeal decision based on research and fact-finding.Develops and delivers classification training for HR professionals across the Department and assesses training needs.Develops and coordinates classification packages for higher-level review or approval. Prepares draft numbered messages on classification related topics for higher level review and issuance.Provides expert technical advice on classification matters while maintaining impartiality and consistency with the classification appeals function.Participates in Department-level Classification working groups, projects, and initiatives.
