Sterile Processing Technician

Travel Sterile Processor
Sterile Processor travel jobs at the facility in Sharon, CT let you play a vital role in maintaining surgical safety and infection prevention in a hospital known for its patient-focused care and supportive team environment. You will decontaminate, sterilize, assemble, and distribute surgical instruments and supplies according to established protocols, documenting activities using electronic medical record (EMR) systems. You must have a high school diploma or equivalent and sterile processing certification such as Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPD), or provisional certification. Manual dexterity, the ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds, and strong attention to detail are required. Prior experience processing surgical instrumentation and knowledge of sterilization procedures are recommended for success in this role.
