IT Operations Manager

Main Duties:

• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure
• Coordinate IT support services, incident resolution and ensure timely responses
• Manage a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, mentoring and support
• Collaborate with external vendors, negotiating contracts, and manage vendor relationships for procurement of hardware
• Develop and implement strategies to improve IT operations efficiency
• Ensure the security and integrity of IT systems, conduct regular audits, and stay updated on threats and solutions
• Manage the assigned IT budget and allocate resources effectively, monitoring expenditure to ensure cost effectiveness
• Develop and maintain comprehensive disaster recovery plans and procedures to ensure data protection
• Ensure that IT operations comply with relevant regulations, industry standards, and best practices
• Foster effective communication and collaboration between IT and other departments and align IT strategies accordingly
• Any other duties related to the job position that may be required

What skills do you need?

• Bachelor`s degree in Computer Science, information technology or related field
• Proficiency in IT infrastructure, networking, security, and cloud technologies
• Good understanding of compliance, regulations, and best practices in IT
• Relevant certifications in ITIL, PMP would be considered an asset
• Industry standard certifications (CompTIA network +, Security + or similar)
• Preferred minimum 2 years proven work experience in a similar role.
• Extensive experience within an IT department working as a support agent or experience in managing teams in complex technical environments
• Experience with system installation, configuration, and analysis
• Strong decision making, leadership & problem solving skills
• Is able to adapt, take initiative with a constant customer Focus
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members/management/stakeholders

Eligibility to work in the EU is a must
