• Position: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)
• Employment Type: Travel RN
• Setting: Emergency Department / Emergency Room
• Location: Live Oak, TX 78233
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,460-$1,540
• Start Date: 08/18/2026
• End Date: 11/17/2026

Job Requirements

• Active Texas RN license required; temporary license will not be accepted
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current PALS or ENPC certification
• Current TNCC certification
• Current NIHSS certification
• Strong teamwork, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Meditech experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Support patient assessment, stabilization, triage, and ongoing monitoring
• Assist with critical interventions including conscious sedation, intubations, sepsis care, stroke response, and chest pain evaluations
• Provide behavioral health watch and support for diverse patient needs
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Float as needed in accordance with unit guidelines
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and the care team to promote safe, efficient patient care
