Transportation Manager

Transportation Program SupervisorThe primary purpose of your job position is to be responsible for the transportation program; including transport of participants, meals, durable medical equipment, pharmacy and any other transportation as deemed necessary.What you will do:Serve on the interdisciplinary team (IDT), attending morning updates and reporting changes in participants' baseline status to appropriate staff on a daily basis.Supervise transportation staff, oversee hiring, training, and daily operations.Ensure responsibility for running and maintaining transportation scheduling software programEnsure effective daily communications between the Center, transportation drivers, dispatch and transportation coordinator.Ensure the daily work schedules are communicated to colleagues.Ensure coordinating and scheduling daily delivery of home delivered meals, Durable Medical Equipment (DME), supplies and miscellaneous items requested.Oversee the vehicle maintenance program, repairs and assist with research for purchase of new vehicles.Responsible for ensuring participant satisfaction as it relates to transportation.Collaborate on budgeting and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.Manage third party contracts for services, maintain comprehensive vendor list and ensure contracted staffing levels are appropriate.Minimum Qualifications:High School diploma required; College degree is preferred.Minimum of one (1) year experience in working with the frail or elderly population.Two (2) years of administrative/supervisory experience in a transportation setting.Five (5) years of experience in the transportation industry.
