What You'll Do

• Conduct psychological screenings and assessments based on available records and clinical interviews
• Collaborate with mental health team members, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to coordinate patient care
• Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans for inmates/residents
• Perform regular rounds in confinement areas to assess mental health and adjustment
• Provide mental health counseling, crisis intervention, and risk assessments as needed
• Use evidence-based therapies and techniques for client management
• Contribute to a multidisciplinary approach to ensure well-rounded care delivery

What You Need
Required:

• Active or eligible license to practice as a Psychologist in Mississippi
• BLS certification (or pending attestation)
• Experience in mental health assessment and counseling
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred:

• At least 1 year of experience in correctional or mental health settings
• Knowledge of psychological assessment tools and techniques
