Travel Nurse RN - CVU - Cardiovascular Unit - $2,704 per week

LanceSoft is seeking a travel nurse RN CVU - Cardiovascular Unit for a travel nursing job in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Job Description & Requirements

Required Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required.
• Recent Cardiac Stepdown/PCU experience is required.
• Experience caring for patients with: Chest tubes, Cardiac drips/IV infusions, Cardiac rehabilitation, pre-and post-cardiac procedures, Cardiac stabilization
• Experience interpreting EKGs, monitoring cardiac rhythms and heart rates.
• Ability to collaborate with Cardiac Rehab, patient education, and discharge planning teams.
• Experience in a mixed Cardiovascular Stepdown/Medical-Surgical unit preferred.

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of professional nursing theories, practices, techniques, and procedures.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical decision-making skills.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, coordinate, and evaluate patient care.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to respond effectively to the cultural and language needs of patients and families.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Licensure & Certifications

• Current Oklahoma RN License or Multistate Compact RN License (eNLC).
• BLS (AHA) certification.
• ACLS (AHA) certification.

Education:

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program required.
