Opportunity Overview
A global leader is looking for a Global Payroll Manager to run payroll for about ~450 employees, including France. You'll lead a payroll team, manage outside payroll providers, and make sure every payroll is accurate, compliant and on time. The role can be remote or onsite, and East Coast or regional candidates are preferred.

What You'll Do
•    Run international payroll operations across seven countries, making sure every cycle is accurate and on time.
•    Lead, coach and grow the payroll team, and find ways to simplify processes and work more efficiently.
•    Work with HR, IT and Accounting on payroll accuracy, system integrations and financial reporting.
•    Oversee payroll calculations, earnings, deductions, benefits, tax withholding and funding.
•    Keep payroll compliant with federal, state, local and international tax rules.
•    Manage third-party payroll providers, resolve tax notices and handle government reporting.
•    Lead payroll audits, and maintain the controls and documentation needed for regulatory and financial reviews.
•    Make sure incentive programs, equity awards and their tax obligations are accounted for correctly.
•    Lead year-end payroll, including preparing and distributing employee tax forms.
•    Improve payroll systems, reporting and integrations for better accuracy, efficiency and compliance.

What You Bring
•    Payroll experience, including global or international payroll.
•    A track record of managing and developing a payroll team.
•    Hands-on experience processing payroll in France. French language skills are essential.
•    Advanced knowledge of ADP Workforce Now and Workday HCM.
•    Experience with multi-state payroll, international payroll vendors and payroll tax compliance.
•    Strong Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables and lookups.
•    Strong organization, analysis and problem solving, with close attention to detail.
•    The ability to juggle competing priorities and meet firm payroll deadlines.
•    Clear communication, good interpersonal skills, and discretion with confidential employee information.
