President - Direct Hire @ Questpro | Insurance Recruiting Medical Admin/ IME Assistant On-site role in Redlands, CA Hours: M-F, 8-5 Pay: $19-$20 HR. Temp-Perm Potential ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES Answering phones and providing excellent customer service Scheduling appointments in Lanai Assisting with chart preparation and organization Tracking current and pending cases Coordinating exam locations and opening schedules in Lanai Assisting with managing medical records Assisting IME Case managers with follow up on offered exams Verifies all client information is current in the database and all client information is documented in the system. Maintain system tasks in Lanai. Appropriately directs calls to other departments as needed. Create invoices and post charges in Lanai. Performs various clerical duties such as typing, filing, emailing, and proofreading as required. When necessary, notifies management of any report issues or concerns. Ensures all practices are carried out in accordance with state and federal safety and legal regulations. Perform other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS and REQUIREMENTS Minimum 1-3 years of administrative clerical experience. Must be able to work independently, prioritize work activities and use time efficiently. Must possess the ability to manage change, delays, or unexpected events appropriately. High school diploma or equivalent required. A minimum of one-year related experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience. Experience in a medical office preferred. Must possess complete knowledge of general computer, fax, copier, scanner, and telephone. Must be knowledgeable of multiple software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and the Internet. Must have a full understanding of HIPAA regulations and compliance. Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
