We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Barista to join our team and deliver a high-quality café experience that complements our wellness offering.

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone passionate about coffee, hospitality, and creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere for customers.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service

• Deliver a warm, welcoming and friendly experience to all customers.

• Engage with customers to create a positive and relaxed café environment and turn them into regulars.

• Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally.

• Take orders efficiently and accurately using the POS system.

• Handle customer feedback and queries in a courteous manner.

Coffee, Drinks & Food Preparation

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, teas, and beverages to brand standards.

• Assist with the preparation and presentation of light food offerings.

• Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and presentation.

• Ensure all food and beverages are served promptly.

Daily Operations

• Support the smooth day-to-day running of the café.

• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of all work areas, equipment, and seating areas.

• Assist with opening and closing procedures.

• Restock supplies and monitor inventory levels.

• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures, safety and hygiene guidelines.

About You

Friendly, reliable, and passionate about coffee and delivering excellent customer service. 

Required Skills and Experience

• Relevant Barista experience, ideally working in a high-quality or specialty coffee environment.

• Excellent customer service skills.

• Proven track record of following food safety, hygiene, and standard operating procedures.

• Experience with POS.

• Ability to reliably commute to and work from the 1710 S Broadway Englewood location in Denver, Colorado.

• Available to work shifts between 6:00 AM and 10:00 PM MT, Monday to Sunday.

• Aged 21+ to pour or dispense alcohol behind the bar and to manage or supervise alcohol sales.

• Legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship. KOTA does not currently sponsor employment visas. 

Desired Skills and Experience  

• Valid Food Protection Manager Certificate.

Pay and Benefits

Pay: $20 per hour, plus tips, Non-exempt, overtime-eligible

Working hrs: Shift work between 6:00 AM and 10:00 PM MT (cafe opening hours may vary)

Work model: Onsite 

Pay: $20 per hour, plus tips
