Meat Cutter

Location: Portland, Oregon
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Compensation: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour, depending on experience


Position Summary


We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Meat Cutter to fill a full-time position with our client located in Portland, OR . The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in meat cutting and processing, a strong understanding of safety protocols, and the ability to support general warehouse operations when necessary.


Primary Responsibilities

• Perform the cutting, trimming, and preparation of meat products according to established specifications
• Utilize knives and various types of meat processing machinery in a safe and effective manner
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in accordance with food safety and sanitation standards
• Assist with warehouse tasks, including inventory handling and general labor support
• Consistently adhere to company and industry safety guidelines

Qualifications

• Meat cutting experience is required
• Proficient in the use of meat processing equipment
• Ability to safely lift up to 40 pounds on a regular basis
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as within a team environment
