Oversee daily workflow, scheduling, and assignments of equipment staff Coordinate preventive maintenance and repair services (in‑house and external vendors) Produce and maintain accurate service and maintenance reports Track and log completed services in equipment management software Manage inventory of filters, parts, and shop tooling Identify equipment issues and assist in developing effective solutions Update service intervals and filter data based on mechanic and oiler feedback Prepare and submit monthly pickup deficiency and mileage reports Organize daily operations to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime Interview, hire, and develop equipment personnel Conduct performance evaluations and handle disciplinary actions when needed Mentor and support team members to improve performance and meet company goals Assist the Equipment Manager in achieving department and company objectives Be available to work off‑hours or weekends as needed What You’ll Bring to the Team We’re looking for a hands‑on leader who is organized, proactive, and experienced in managing equipment maintenance operations. High school diploma or equivalent (additional training or experience preferred) Experience in heavy equipment maintenance, service coordination, or shop supervision Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent organizational and scheduling abilities Proficiency with computers and maintenance tracking software Effective communication skills with field crews and management Solid problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities Valid driver’s license required (CDL is a plus) Physical & Work Environment This position combines office, shop, and field responsibilities in a fast‑paced construction environment. Regular standing, walking, bending, and lifting (up to 100 lbs occasionally) Exposure to noise, dust, vibration, weather, and heavy equipment Required use of PPE including hard hat, safety vest, gloves, eye and hearing protection We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
