Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced GI/Endoscopy RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring hands-on GI procedural experience and a compact or TX RN license.

Details

• Endoscopy unit with 12 pre-op rooms, 6 recovery rooms, and 4 procedure rooms
• Staffed with a clinical supervisor, RNs, GI techs, and a HUC on day shift only, with no night shifts
• Patient ratio of 2:1
• Uses endoscopy equipment and Meditech EMR
• Schedule is 7A-7P with no weekend shifts
• Rotating on-call required 24/7
• No floating required

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in GI/Endoscopy required
• Hands-on experience performing GI procedures such as EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, EUS, or bronchoscopy required
• Bronchoscopy and complex GI procedure experience (ERCP, EUS) preferred
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• No gaps in work history of 90+ days within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Perform and assist with GI procedures including EGD, colonoscopy, bronchoscopy, ERCP, EUS, stent placements, and PEG tube insertion
• Team-oriented environment seeking strong team players
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates will not be considered
