Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

Census Bureau Project And Schedule Management Support

This position will support the U.S. Census Bureau as it plans, coordinates, and administers all project and schedule management activities needed to facilitate the Census Bureau’s Decennial Scheduling programs throughout the United States and its territories.

Responsibilities:

• Support the creation of metrics and development of Power BI dashboards.
• Allow stakeholders to view metrics and reports as updates are made during the reporting cycle.
• Use of workflows in Power BI to improve the efficiency of reporting across the Scheduling Branch.
• Work with schedulers and management to create automated reports to increase efficiency or eliminate entirely the need for some routine repeatable tasks needed to produce documentation and reports.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 8 years of overall IT experience
• Preferred minimum of 5 years utilizing Power BI to develop dashboards for Government clients.
• Demonstrated experience in identification of best practices for creating and assessing performance measurements.
• Demonstrated experience in creation of metrics for analyzing and reporting project progress and data.
• Demonstrated experience developing and implementing Power BI dashboards to allow stakeholders to view metrics and reports.
• Experience supporting the use of workflows in Power BI to improve the efficiency of reporting.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite to create documentation, presentations, or other artifacts to document and present schedule information
