Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist to join our team in Tulsa, OK . This position is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC lathes and related machining equipment while producing high-quality precision components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The ideal CNC Lathe Machinist has strong machining experience, excellent blueprint reading skills, and the ability to work independently while maintaining productivity and quality standards. Required Experience & Skills
• 3-5 years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing or job shop environment required
• Strong knowledge of CNC lathes and machining processes
• Ability to set up and operate CNC equipment independently
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and technical documentation
• Proficiency using precision measuring tools including calipers and O.D./I.D. micrometers
• Strong mathematical skills, including feeds and speeds calculations and fraction-to-decimal conversions
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic REQUIRED

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Set up and operate CNC lathes, mills, grinders, and related machining equipment
• Read, interpret, and make basic edits to CNC programs as needed
• Produce high-quality machined parts while meeting production schedules
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and manufacturing documentation
• Use precision measuring equipment to verify dimensions and maintain tolerances
• Calculate feeds, speeds, and machining parameters to achieve required finishes
• Maintain machinery and equipment in proper operating condition
• Follow 5S and lean manufacturing principles to maintain an organized workspace
• Meet productivity goals within assigned work cells
• Train and mentor less experienced machinists and operators as needed
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding production issues
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support manufacturing operations

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in high-mix or job shop machining environments
• Ability to troubleshoot machining and setup issues independently
• Leadership or mentoring experience in a manufacturing setting
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives

Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift
• Frequent walking and movement around production equipment
• Frequent use of hands, arms, and legs while operating machinery and handling materials
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance
• Comfortable performing repetitive tasks in a manufacturing environment

Work Environment
• Fast-paced manufacturing and machine shop environment
• Exposure to CNC equipment, cutting fluids, metal chips, and production noise
• Requires strict adherence to safety procedures and quality standards
• PPE required while working on the production floor
