Press Brake Operator

**SUMMARY**:The **Press Brake Operator II **uses brakes, sheer, spot-welder, PEM insert machine, and a roller.**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**Understand jobs, tags, storage, and electronical logging.Read and interpret most blueprints.Understands all pieces of equipment in press area including presses, insertion equipment, finishing equipment, insertion equipment, and spot-welding equipment.Run any programmed job, correctly inspect the first part, and set up the job.Establish inspection and basic tooling from the tooling list.**EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/LICENSURE:**High School Diploma or GED preferredVocational or Trade School preferred3 to 5 years of Brake press experience preferredForklift certification required**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES**:Ability to read blueprints.Ability to work with others to complete tasks or work individually.Proficient reading skills for tape measures, caliper, and other measuring tools**PHYSICAL DEMANDS**:Lift, carry, push, and or pull 1- 50 lbs. frequently.Regularly sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time.Work in a fast-paced industrial environment while wearing hearing protection, vision protection, steel-toed shoes, and other appropriate protective clothing**WORK ENVIRONMENT**Normal work hours with occasional optional as well as mandatory overtime necessary to meet deadlinesNormal office and manufacturing plant environment which may include exposure to dust, industrial solvents, liquids and other materials.The working environment will extend to both hot and cold conditions #J-18808-Ljbffr Torrey Holistics
