Job Description

The position assumes responsibility and accountability for providing nursing care for patients and their families. The role involves delivering expert, compassionate, individualized nursing care while collaborating with providers, staff, and other team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes. The nurse will oversee daily patient flow, triage incoming requests, and deliver patient education to facilitate care plans and promote wellness.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily patient flow to optimize care, safety, and satisfaction.
• Triaging incoming patient requests and handling high telephone volumes for patient information and assistance.
• Administer medications, perform treatments, and assist in procedures while adhering to patient safety guidelines.
• Coordinate patient care with physician practices and other healthcare entities.
• Deliver patient education and advocate for informed healthcare decisions to promote optimal wellness.
• Demonstrate competent healthcare assessment, prioritization, and critical thinking skills.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and model principles of a Just Culture and Organizational Values.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Colorado or from a valid compact state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
