Assembly Lead

Assembly LeadYou will be responsible for overseeing a crew of 10 performing installations of air conditioning units according to set standards and schedule.ResponsibilitiesComplete installation orders based on customer specifications, which may include air conditioning evaporators, condensers, compressors, mount kits, and associated duct and connecting systems.Gather parts, tools, and materials needed to complete assigned work independently.Ensure installations meet all quality and cost standards as well as customer schedules.Charge air conditioning systems as needed.Perform special projects including replacements, after-sales service, retrofits, and remodels as assigned.Keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance as required and following manufacturer's instructions.Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and standards, including performing tasks safely, wearing required personal protective equipment, maintaining a clean working area, and implementing safety improvements.Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed and preventing re-work and waste.Maintain professional and positive relations with team members and customers.Assist with Quality Response Quality Control process and support continuous improvement initiatives.Essential SkillsProduction management and supervision experience with 4+ years overseeing a team of 10+ people.Ability to read blueprints.Proficiency in using hand power and pneumatic tools.Strong leadership and positive guidance.Additional Skills & QualificationsPreferred experience in the automotive industry.1+ year of experience performing light automotive repairs.Ability to lift heavy components (30-50 pounds) and stand for long hours.Effective communication skills and ability to positively represent company branding.Capability to work independently.Computer literacy with basic proficiency in Microsoft and Google applications.Strong problem-solving skills.Preference given to applicants with air conditioning installation experience.Why Work Here?Enjoy full benefits at a very low cost, annual merit-based raises typically in January, 10 vacation days in the first year, and holiday pay.Work EnvironmentWork in a non-climate-controlled garage, Monday to Friday from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with occasional Fridays starting at 7:00 AM. Includes a 30-minute lunch break.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tulsa, OK.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $26.00 - $26.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
