Company Description CrossFit JXN serves the greater Jackson area providing group fitness classes to general popularion clients. We seek to offer the best hour of each client’s day by providing thorough coaching and varied programming to meet the health and fitness needs. Role Description The Coach role is a part-time, on-site position based in Jackson, MS. The coach will work directly with clients providing group and individual coaching as well as consistent feedback. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting small to medium group sessions, beinging positive energy, and adjusting workoutd to support individual needs. The coach will communicate regularly with the ither foaches on staff and foster a supportive, motivating environment. Additional tasks may include scheduling sessions, preparing materials, and engaging in local networking to build and maintain a stable client base. Qualifications Current CrossFit Level 1 or higher Previous coaching experience either group or individual PT Ability to coach early morning 2 or more days per week Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including active listening, empathy, and the ability to build trust with diverse clients. Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple clients, maintain records, and manage a part-time schedule. Experience in coaching, mentoring, teaching, or related fields is highly beneficial. Relevant certifications or training in coaching, counseling, education, or a related discipline are preferred.
