Controls Engineer – Automation & Systems Integration Beloit, WI | $90K+ DOE | ~25% Travel | Full Benefits Note: Sponsorship not available If you’re a controls engineer who enjoys taking projects from concept through commissioning and wants to work on varied, custom automation systems—this could be a strong fit. Our client is a well-established, family-owned automation integrator (in business since 1944) delivering turnkey and custom solutions across multiple industries. Their engineers are hands-on and involved in the full lifecycle and not siloed into one phase. What you’ll be doing: Design and develop control systems for automated equipment Program PLCs (primarily Rockwell/Allen‑Bradley) and develop HMI applications Lead system testing, troubleshooting, and on‑site commissioning (~25% travel) Work across full lifecycle: design → integration → startup Interpret schematics, drawings, and system layouts What they’re looking for: Bachelor’s in Engineering or 5+ years of relevant experience PLC programming experience (Rockwell preferred), HMI, SCADA exposure Familiarity with AutoCAD and industrial automation environments Understanding of NEC and UL 508A Why engineers like this role: Diverse, custom projects (not repetitive work) Strong ownership and autonomy Stable, long‑standing company with a solid reputation Collaborative, hands‑on engineering team #J-18808-Ljbffr
