Graphic Designer (Client-Facing)

About the Role We are seeking a creative, organized, and customer-focused Graphic Designer (Client-Facing) to join our team. This is a unique opportunity that combines graphic design with client success and account management. You will be responsible for designing digital menus, communicating directly with restaurant clients, and managing their ongoing design needs. Unlike a traditional graphic design position, this role requires strong communication skills, multitasking, and the ability to manage multiple client accounts independently. Responsibilities Design visually appealing digital menus using Adobe Creative Suite. Participate in client welcome calls to understand their needs, branding, and design preferences. Gather creative requirements and develop customized menu designs. Upload, update, and manage digital menus through eMenu's platform (training provided). Manage multiple design projects and client accounts simultaneously. Serve as the main point of contact for assigned clients regarding menu designs, revisions, and updates. Build and maintain strong relationships with restaurant owners and managers. Visit restaurants when necessary to assist clients and ensure their satisfaction. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of projects. Respond to client requests and maintain ownership of assigned accounts throughout the client relationship. Requirements Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite; Lightroom and Premiere Pro are a plus. Strong graphic design skills, creativity, and attention to detail. Excellent multitasking, organizational, and time-management skills. Strong English communication and customer service skills. Comfortable communicating directly with clients and managing their expectations. Ability to manage several projects, deadlines, and client requests simultaneously. Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for restaurant visits. Flexibility to respond to occasional client requests outside regular business hours. Compensation & Schedule Starting pay: $20/hour (W-2 employment). After 3 months: $22.50/hour. Overtime: $30/hour initially, increasing to $33.75/hour after 3 months. Flexible schedule: Employees have the flexibility to organize their workday while meeting deadlines and remaining responsive to client needs. Weekend on-call rotation: Each designer is assigned one weekend approximately every seven weeks, rotating among seven graphic designers. On-call compensation: $75 per day ($150 for the full weekend), plus applicable pay for hours actually worked. Occasional evening availability: Some client requests may require attention outside traditional business hours. Training & Development Training is provided on eMenu's backend platform, including uploading, updating, and managing digital menus. Employees receive guidance on internal processes, client communication, and account management. Opportunity to develop both creative and client relationship management skills.
