Hourly Rate: $26.00 - $35.00 Sign‑on Bonus: Up to $10,000.00 for eligible full‑time roles. UPMC‑GoHealth Urgent Care is the largest operator of urgent care centers in Pennsylvania and West Virginia. The Radiologic Technologist (RT) works with medical providers and assistants at our urgent care centers. Job Summary The Radiologic Technologist (RT) provides a variety of technical procedures and applies prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis. The RT performs and analyzes patient x‑rays, reports results, and provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the urgent care centers. The RT collaborates with medical providers, medical assistants, and patients in patient care management, organization, and communication. Responsibilities Collaborate with medical providers and assistants through tasks related to patient care management, organization, and communication. Exercise professional judgment to provide health care services, including applying x‑ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups. Perform and analyze patient x‑rays, report results to medical providers, and provide administrative support. Assist with patient preparation and rooming, including conducting interviews, recording medical history, measuring vital signs, and conducting point‑of‑care testing as needed. Maintain patient records, scan charts, and complete equipment logbooks. Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and preventive maintenance of X‑ray equipment. Adhere to radiation safety protocols and implement ALARA to minimize exposure. Support clinic operations to keep the center running smoothly and assist clinicians with positioning and imaging. Qualifications High School Diploma required. Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist program required. Experience in a clinical setting preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at hire. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration required at hire. State licensure as a radiologic technologist required at hire (if applicable). Knowledge & Skills Knowledge of X‑ray procedures, protocols, anatomy, and physiology. Knowledge of radiology equipment and radiation safety hazards. Ability to position patients accurately, identify equipment problems, and follow infection control procedures.
