Summary We are seeking a full-time, 40-hour Phlebotomist to work onsite at 323 Lowell Street in Andover, MA. The desired schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm. Our Phlebotomists play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients and are responsible for collecting and processing blood specimens from patients for laboratory testing. Essential Functions Obtains quality blood samples using a variety of phlebotomy methods for all age groups. Ensures accurate patient identification, quality specimen labeling, processing, handling, and transportation of specimens. Communicates effectively with patients and patient care teams, explaining procedures and addressing patient concerns to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. Handles sharps and biohazardous materials in accordance with regulatory requirements to ensure the safety of patients and staff. Works fluently with computer programs and systems, and complies with HIPAA regulations.
