The Emergency Room Technician plays a crucial role in providing immediate care and support to patients in a fast-paced emergency department. Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in an emergency room or critical care setting.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Behavioral Health Base Training (provided by the hospital)

Responsibilities:

• Assist medical staff in the assessment and treatment of patients in the emergency room.
• Monitor and record patients' vital signs and report any changes to the medical team.
• Prepare and maintain medical equipment and supplies for use in emergency procedures.
• Assist with the transportation of patients to and from the emergency room and other departments.
