Serves as the key owner and operator of numerous crisis response and threat monitoring systems, ensuring operational readiness and rapid response capability. Conducts data analysis and prepares detailed reports to inform OPS leadership on security trends and program effectiveness. Works collaboratively with campus partners to enhance physical security operations.Directly responsible to the Chief of Staff or designee for fulfilling duties assigned, performing analytical functions, and specialized assignments. This person often works independently with minimal direct supervision. The incumbent works with officers, technology specialists, facilities management and other university operations staff on a daily basis.Position is considered as essential under the University Personnel policy guidelines and therefore is subject to be on call when necessary. Must be willing to work extended, odd, or off hours to achieve the expectations of the Department. This may include rotating tours of duty (day shifts, evening shifts, overnight shifts) with fluctuating days off, according to departmental needs.Requirements and QualificationsBachelor's degree required.At least 2 years, preferably more, of security/intelligence related experience required. Internships and/or research assistant positions are acceptable experience.Demonstrated knowledge of security technology and software (e.g., Samdesk, Babel Street, CampusOptics, etc.)Experience with Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT)Must be a U.S. Citizen.Must be at least 21 years of age.Must be able to pass a comprehensive background investigation.Must be comfortable using Google SuiteMust possess tact, patience, a professional and courteous demeanor, and a pleasant personality in order to support key stakeholders.Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including report writing, are essential.Ability to analyze and assemble quantitative and qualitative reports.
