Join us as a Project Engineer for the FBM team where you will be involved in planning and executing avionics work scope and program execution. Key Activities You Will Accomplish In This Role Ensure that projects are completed on cost and schedule following established procedures, schedules, and work plans Coordinate the planning, organizing, control, Integration and completion of Engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility Ensure Engineering is coordinated across Program and suppliers To Be Effective In This Role, You Will Need Prior technical project leadership experience. 3+ years professional experience. While no clearance is needed to start in this position, you will need to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance, thus US Citizenship is required. Coordinates planning, organization, control, integration and completion of engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility. Plans and formulates engineering program; reviews product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications. Evaluates and approves design changes, specification and drawing releases. Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems. Basic Qualifications Experience as a CAM (Cost Account Manager) Experience leading projects, teams, and/or development efforts Experience with risk and opportunity identification and mitigation. Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance to support this government contract Desired Skills Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited college or a related discipline or equivalent experience/combined education Project management certification or equivalent Baseline control experience and Earned Value Management (EVM) experience Support equipment, missile, or production operations experience. Experience with product life cycle (development, deployment, retirement) Experience as an IPT Lead Agile methodology experience Experience with Jira or other issue tracking tools Possess strong communication, social, and problem resolution skills Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $118000.00 - $219100.00 At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
