Position Summary

As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) , you will evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. You'll collaborate with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary care team to deliver high-quality, individualized therapy services.
Key Responsibilities

• Perform patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide therapy for speech, language, cognition, and dysphagia
• Monitor resident progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and care team members
• Participate in care planning and discharge planning
• Contribute to a positive rehab team culture and outcomes-focused care

Qualifications

• Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active, unencumbered SLP license in South Carolina (required)
• Advanced degree preferred
• Experience in a long-term care or rehab setting preferred
• Familiarity with PointClickCare (PCC) and Casamba preferred
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
• Commitment to resident-centered care and professional growth
