Overview A sports medicine team in the Finger Lakes Region of New York is hiring a full-time, direct-hire Athletic Trainer to support athletes across school systems and outpatient clinical settings. This on-site role is based in Geneva, NY, and new graduates are welcome to apply. What you\'ll do Apply preventative care techniques and supportive devices for sports-related injuries Guide injured athletes through conditioning and reconditioning programs Communicate effectively with physicians, coaches, and families Provide event coverage and emergency response as scheduled Educate school staff and athletes on injury prevention Document care plans and progress accurately Maintain flexible work locations and schedules based on athletic and clinical needs What you\'ll need Bachelor\'s degree in Athletic Training, Sports Medicine, or related field (required) Master\'s preferred New York State Certified Athletic Trainer (required) NATABOC Certification BLS Certification (can be completed during clinical orientation) New grads encouraged to apply; 1–2 years in a school or outpatient orthopedic/physician practice setting preferred Strong leadership and multitasking abilities Exceptional communication and customer service skills Professionalism and discretion with confidential information Proficiency with Microsoft Office and EMR systems preferred Compensation and benefits Competitive pay Excellent benefits Paid overtime available Why this role This is a chance to work under physician supervision on a high-energy sports medicine team, providing hands-on care across schools, clinics, and sporting events while building your career in a scenic, outdoor-friendly region. #J-18808-Ljbffr
