Job Summary Primary responsibility of the Material Handler is picking, packing, and shipping world-class guitars. We are seeking career-oriented individuals who desire to become a part of a world-class team. This is a full-time position in an aggressive, fast-paced distribution environment. Essential Functions Warehouse experience is desired. Ideal candidates will transition between performing pulling kits, accepting deliveries, distributing kits to the main plant, counting and weighing parts and data entry for inventory purposes. Housekeeping duties within the warehouse. Restock the area with the necessary supplies. Driving a forklift. Other duties as assigned by management. Adherence to the Gibson Cardinal Safety Rules as per the Gibson Playbook for Cardinal Safety Rules and General Safety Rules Obligation to submit Safety observations for identified hazards using the safety observation QR code Support the comprehensive Safety Management System (SMS) to ensure a safe work environment, maintain compliance with regulations, and improvement of our safety processes Other duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities Small piece part production Computer proficiency Ability to work with a team in a fast-paced, results oriented environment Ability to stand/walk for 8-10 hours per day Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Excellent written and oral communication skills Solutions oriented approach to challenges/issues Outstanding time management skillset with the ability to prioritize without direct supervision Ability to work as part of a team Results oriented, taking ownership of goals and objectives. Must be a self-starter Mandatory overtime on an as needed basis Required Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience should center on daily production requirements Excellent written and oral communication skills.
