Junior Accountant

Location: Honolulu, HI 96813

Salary: Up to $60K

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (flex hours available)

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and submit government invoices into WAWF
Track and manage the status of submitted invoices
Communicate with government contract personnel to resolve invoice issues
Ensure compliance with WAWF requirements and government regulations
Process bills, follow up on aging A/R, and provide status summaries to management
Oversee A/P processes, including invoice approval and payment processing
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies

Qualifications:

Associate's degree in Accounting or a minimum of 3 years of A/R, or A/P experience
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Effective communication skills
Ability to work independently with provided guidance
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
