• High School Advanced Building Trades: Lead advanced students in large-scale, hands-on construction projects (including potential residential building/renovation projects), site preparation, estimating, finish carpentry, and project management.
• Curriculum Alignment: Develop and implement standards-aligned lesson plans that integrate academic skills with practical, industry-aligned technical applications.

• Maintain an exemplary standard of workplace and classroom safety in compliance with OSHA standards, district policies, and local building codes.
• Oversee inventory, maintenance, repair, and secure storage of tools, machinery, materials, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Perform regular safety inspections of all shop tools, heavy equipment, and job site environments.

Project Management & Industry Partnerships

• Plan, budget, and supervise student construction projects, coordinating material orders, deliveries, and subcontractor schedules as necessary.
• Foster collaborative relationships with local contractors, suppliers, continuing education programs, advisory boards, and community partners to enhance learning opportunities, site visits, and job placement options for graduates.

Student Engagement & Classroom Culture

• Foster an inclusive, supportive, and disciplined environment that promotes teamwork, work ethic, problem-solving, and professional soft skills.
• Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learning styles, abilities, and career goals.
• Monitor student progress, maintain accurate grade and attendance records, and communicate regularly with parents/guardians and school administration.
