In our memory‑care setting, caregivers receive specialized training in dementia and work effectively with residents with dementia. Caregivers assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): dining, dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting, transfers and ambulation. They encourage resident independence, participation and choice, actively promote engagement in hobbies and community programs. Night‑shift caregivers also provide laundry services and clean equipment.
