Solution Architect - Data Analytics

NRI North America is looking for an Azure Data and Analytics Solution Architect to join our growing team. You will work alongside your peers to design, build, and deliver end-to-end data and analytics solutions for enterprise clients. You should have data engineering experience in Azure and be familiar with modern data platform technologies like Azure Analysis Services, Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Warehouse, and Azure Data Factory. Essential Duties Discuss best practices and strategies for modern data and analytics with clients Integrate data sources to build models and reports for business users Configure and operationalize cloud infrastructure in Azure Speak intelligently to Microsoft’s cloud data strategy and roadmap Stay current on Microsoft technologies and modern data platform best practices Required Skills - Consulting Ability to work independently and as a member of a team Strong written and oral communication skills Strong troubleshooting skills Ability to adjust to new client cultures and projects Adapt positively to change by embracing new practices, processes, or circumstances Present a positive, professional, and self‑confident image Respond to clients in a timely and professional manner Understand and strive to consistently meet or exceed client expectations Collaborate with clients to identify and address their business needs Communicate accurately, concisely, and effectively Respectfully listen to others’ ideas and concerns with an open mind Required Skills - Leadership Display a strong commitment to NRI's vision, mission, and values Meet commitments to others and deliver on time Hold self and others accountable for responsibilities Accept responsibility for own decisions and actions without excuses Self‑starter Required Skills - Technical Data engineering experience in Azure and be familiar with modern data platform technologies like Azure Analysis Services, Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Warehouse, and Azure Data Factory. 3+ years of experience in data engineering and modeling Ability to design an end‑to‑end data analytics solution architecture and drive its implementation Deep understanding of Agile engineering practices Data Warehousing Data ETL/ELT Data Modeling (Dimensional/Kimball) T‑SQL Azure Data Factory (or strong SSIS experience) Azure Data Lake Store SQL Server/Azure SQL Azure Analysis Services or SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) – Tabular Azure DevOps/Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery Preferred And Desirable Skill - Technical Azure Synapse/Azure SQL Data Warehouse Power BI/DAX Databricks Azure Functions Azure Logic Apps Azure AD Data Vault Database administration and performance tuning SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) Python Application development experience Previous consulting experience HDFS Azure Stream Analytics/Azure Event Hub Azure Data Lake Analytics/Apache Hive Azure Cosmos DB Apache Spark/HDInsight PowerShell .NET development R/Scala ASP.NET MVC/Web API Snowflake/BigQuery/Redshift Benefits You’ll love working at NRI not just for the usual benefits, but for our environment and culture!
