Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Surgical Technician with specialization in Operating Room Technology for a position located in Lynchburg, Virginia. This role involves supporting orthopedic surgical services, with a focus on total joint procedures. The position requires prior travel experience, strong orthopedic background, and active certifications. The successful candidate will work on a 12-hour days shift, primarily Monday through Friday, with call shifts in the evenings and weekends. Orientation sessions are scheduled every other Monday.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour days shift, minimum of 36 hours per week. Call shifts required: 1-2 nights per week from 19:15 to 06:45, plus three 24-hour weekend shifts every 6 weeks on Saturday and Sunday.
• Required Qualifications: 2 years of relevant specialty experience, BLS certification, active Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential, and Virginia license. Application for Virginia license must be submitted if not currently licensed. All RTO (Request for Time Off) must be included at the time of submission.
• Preferred Qualifications: Total joint experience is required.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Orientation occurs every other week on Mondays. Locals will not be accepted. The client can cancel up to 30 hours prior to the assignment due to census changes. This position mandates prior travel experience for all Centra operations.
