Registered Nurse - Med Surg

Location: Wilson, NC

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 12-hour shift, 07:00 - 19:00, every other weekend.

Job Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Med Surg department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients, participating in surgical procedures, and performing patient assessments.

Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care in a Med Surg setting.
• Monitor and document vital signs and patient progress.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Assist in surgical procedures and post-operative care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• NIH Stroke Certification preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of Med Surg experience.
• Experience with Meditech EHR is preferred.
