Customer Experience Associate

Customer Experience Associate Weis Markets is seeking a customer experience associate to provide courteous and efficient service to our shoppers. Responsibilities Smiles and greets customers, answers questions, and resolves concerns promptly in a polite and professional manner. Follows company checkout policies to increase customer satisfaction. Operates front-end scanning equipment, cash register, and performs checkout procedures. Properly and efficiently bags merchandise and places items in customers’ carts during transactions. Maintains accuracy during transactions, ensuring correct charging of all items and collecting appropriate funds (cash, checks, electronic payment, coupons). Maintains proper security measures and cash drawer accounting procedures, avoiding overages and shortages. Follows all store and legal guidelines regarding the sale of tobacco and alcohol. Maintains knowledge of weekly ads, marketing promotions, and store layout to answer customer questions. Responsible for general sanitation in the department, following cleaning schedules and guidelines to keep work areas, equipment, counters, and display cases clean and compliant with health and OSHA requirements. Disposes of trash properly. Ensures smooth function of department and store by cooperating with co‑workers and supervisors. Continuously improves job performance. Utilizes all company‑provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as cut‑resistant gloves, safety cutters, and company‑sponsored footwear. May be called upon to assist in other departments. Supervisory Responsibilities This position currently has no supervisory responsibilities. Qualifications High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) completed or in progress. No prior experience required. Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without an accommodation.
