ARE YOU A GOOD FIT FOR THIS JOB?

We are hiring for both full‑time and part‑time Associate Teacher positions at The Nest Family Center. No weekend work required. Full‑time shifts are typically 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM , Monday through Friday. Part‑time options include 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM or 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM , Monday through Friday. As a full‑ or part‑time Associate Teacher , you will arrive each day ready to support a stimulating and safe educational environment in accordance with New Hampshire state regulations. Under the guidance of the Lead Teacher, you will implement developmentally appropriate activities that spark curiosity and support growth in every child. You’ll engage meaningfully with children, foster positive peer interactions, and maintain open communication with families—keeping them informed about their child’s progress and responding to questions with care. You will also work closely with fellow educators to ensure a cohesive, collaborative classroom experience. In addition to all the fun and learning, you will help keep the center clean, organized, and safe—always traveling with a watchful eye on each child’s well‑being. At least 18 years old High school diploma or equivalent Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and play with kids Ability to follow NH child‑care rules (CPR/First Aid, training, etc.) YOU’LL NEED TO MEET ONE OF THESE MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FROM THE STATE: Worked as an associate teacher before November 6, 2017 Took 9 college credits in child‑related classes (including one on child development) Certified as a Para II educator Have 1,000 hours of child‑care experience and completed a 2‑year high school teacher course OR a college class in child development OR 30 hours of approved training OR relevant life experience working with children (e.g., teaching, camp counselor)
