Provide essential pharmacist per diem coverage in a retail pharmacy setting associated with a clinic in the Kansas City area. This role supplies vital support by covering sick time and PTO as the team seeks a full-time Director of Pharmacy. The position primarily involves verifying prescriptions and working closely with pharmacy technicians to manage a daily volume of approximately 200 prescriptions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify and dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth pharmacy operations
• Utilize Scriptpro system knowledge for prescription processing (preferred)
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and procedures
• Support a closed-door retail pharmacy environment connected to a clinical setting

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Missouri State Pharmacist license in good standing
• BLS/CPR certification
• Certified Immunizer status
• Valid Notice of Intent (NOI) filed with the Missouri Board of Pharmacy to administer vaccines or medications by prescription
• Experience in outpatient/clinic and retail pharmacy settings preferred

Schedule:

• Per diem hours as needed, including specific coverage dates in September
• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• No weekend hours required
