Position Summary Performs general resident care to residents under the direction and supervision of the Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse. Responsibilities Answer phone calls, route callers, take messages, and provide routine information to callers. Communicate cooperatively and constructively with physicians, residents, families, guests, members of the healthcare team and others. Ensure the confidentiality of all health information as required by Florida Statutes and HIPAA guidelines. Maintain orderliness and cleanliness of the work station areas. Maintain pre‑established par levels of all unit office supplies and forms. Schedule appointments, transportation and escorts. Assemble and prepare medical records of newly admitted, current, discharged, transferred and expired residents into correct chart order, analyze each record for completeness, provide report of missing documentation for follow up. Audit and update active records and prepare report of missing documentation for follow up. Maintain logs and worksheets. Maintain reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards. Maintain compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures. Secure resident records from previous admissions. Maintain current photo of each resident in the medical record. Qualifications Education/Training Must be able to demonstrate reading, verbal and written communication, mathematical, and reasoning skills. Licensure/Certification Maintain current Florida CNA license renewed every two years. Maintain current BLS certification. May be required to maintain a valid Florida driver’s license and must be insurable under the Orlando Health insurance carrier’s requirements and standards. #J-18808-Ljbffr
