Travel Physical Therapist

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is currently hiring a Travel Physical Therapist (Home Health) in Dallas, TX.

This is an on-site, full-time contract position providing in-home therapy services across the assigned coverage area. Apply with a current resume for consideration.

Assignment Details:

Pay: $55 to $59/hr

Location: Dallas, TX 75240

Contract Duration: Three-Month Contract, possibility of extension

Schedule: Monday – Friday, standard daytime hours

Weekly Hour Guarantee: 40 hours

On-Call/Weekend Requirement: 1 weekend per month

Mileage: Reimbursed between patient visits (from first patient to last patient)

Job Summary:

The Travel Physical Therapist will provide skilled, patient-centered home health therapy services in the Dallas area. This role focuses on improving patient mobility, function, and independence through individualized treatment plans, therapeutic interventions, and comprehensive documentation in the home setting.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform admission visits, OASIS assessments, treatment visits, and recertification/discharge visits in a home health setting

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and home exercise programs (HEP)

• Evaluate patient mobility, strength, pain, and functional limitations

• Provide skilled physical therapy interventions to post-operative orthopedic and general home health patients

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to support patient outcomes

• Monitor, document, and report patient progress and changes in condition using Home Care Home Base (HCHB)

• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy plans and home safety

• Travel daily throughout assigned Dallas coverage area to provide in-home care

• Ensure timely and accurate documentation of all patient visits and updates

• Participate in care coordination and team communication as needed

Qualifications:

• Active Physical Therapist license in Texas required

• Home Health experience required

• Experience with Home Care Home Base (HCHB) required

• Experience treating post-operative orthopedic patients required

• Strong OASIS and documentation skills required

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy or related field required

• CPR certification required

• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation required

• Ability to travel within assigned service area

Pay Details: $55.00 to $59.00 per hour
