Banquet Captain

Job Summary We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Banquet Captain to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. The Banquet Captain will oversee banquet operations, ensuring exceptional service and smooth execution of events. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate with multiple departments to deliver memorable experiences for our guests. Key Responsibilities Supervise and lead banquet staff during events to ensure high-quality service and guest satisfaction. Coordinate setup and breakdown of banquet rooms according to event specifications. Communicate effectively with event planners, kitchen staff, and management to ensure seamless event execution. Monitor service standards and address any issues promptly to maintain a positive guest experience. Train and mentor banquet staff, providing guidance and support as needed. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards. Assist with inventory management and ordering of banquet supplies. Handle guest inquiries and resolve complaints professionally and efficiently. Qualifications Previous experience in banquet or event management, preferably in a hospitality setting. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. Knowledge of food and beverage service standards is a plus.
