Opportunity:

Physician - Anesthesiology, Anesthesiology - Adult Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology

Job Details:

• Experience with cardiac cases including CABG required; cardiac fellowship completion or demonstrated comfort with cardiothoracic surgery cases strongly preferred
• Full-time coverage requested with flexible shifts of 8-10 hours; day shifts with call options available
• Full week coverage 1-2 times per month or 40+ hour work week for full-time commitment
• Option to provide coverage at an Ambulatory Surgery Center
• Physician-led model with a supportive CRNA group and team of daily anesthesia assistants
• Surgical specialties include cardiac, complete orthopedic, complex vascular, head/spine, neuro, OB, pediatric, regional, and thoracic cases
• Required anesthesia skills include general, spinal, epidural, regional, obstetrical, neurosurgical, open heart, thoracic, and complex vascular and orthopedic cases
• Additional required skills include pain management techniques, post-op epidural and extremity blocks, epidural steroid injections (lumbar and cervical), transforaminal procedures, and use of x-ray guidance in performance of blocks
• Central line, arterial line, and PA catheter placement required
• Ventilation management and evaluation and management of acute volume/BP issues required
• CRNA supervision required
• Board certification required; ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
• Facility is a Level 2 trauma center with a Level 1 pediatric designation
