Join a respected, modern dental implants and periodontics practice in the Bronx as a part‑time Dental Hygienist. Provide high‑quality preventive and periodontal care, support implant and perio treatment workflows, and deliver excellent patient education in a team‑focused environment. Position is 2 days per week (flexible within weekday hours; no Fridays or weekends).
Bronx Dental Implants and Periodontics is a long‑standing specialty practice focused on implant and periodontal care. We combine advanced clinical protocols with a patient‑centered approach to deliver outstanding outcomes. Our office uses current digital systems and fosters a collaborative, respectful culture that values professional growth.

Job DescriptionPerform dental hygiene procedures: prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, periodontal maintenance
Administer local anesthesia when indicated (NY local anesthesia license required)
Take and evaluate digital radiographs and intraoral images (Dexis/Digital X‑ray)
Conduct periodontal charting, assess oral/systemic health links, and update patient records
Provide patient education on oral hygiene, periodontal care, and post‑op instructions
Verify and document medical histories and communicate findings to the clinical team
Follow infection control and OSHA/HIPAA protocols
Support efficient patient flow and collaborate with periodontists and staff on treatment planning
Salary Rangefull-time $57 - $60 per hour

Shift & ScheduleMonday 9:00 AM–6:00 PM; Tuesday 9:00 AM–5:00 PM; Wednesday 9:00 AM–7:00 PM; Thursday 9:00 AM–3:00 PM
Requirements- Basic life support
- Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
- Licensed dental hygienist
- Local Anesthesia Certification
Registered Dental Hygienist licensed in New York State (RDH)
Valid New York State local anesthesia certification
Current CPR certification
Demonstrated clinical competence in periodontal hygiene (scaling/root planing)
Professional communication skills and ability to work in a specialty team setting
Availability for two weekday shifts per week (no Fridays or weekends)

- Dexis
Bilingual in Spanish
Experience with Dentrix practice management software
Experience in a periodontal/implant specialty office
Prior exposure to digital imaging systems (Dexis or equivalent)
