JOB REQUIREMENTS: Back Advanced Practice Provider - Neuro-Interventional Location: St. Vincent Green Bay, Green Bay, Wisconsin, United States Position: APP Neuro-Interventional Surgery – St. Vincent Green Bay This 40‑hour per week position focuses on rounding in the inpatient and emergency department settings, as well as providing care in the outpatient clinic. The role does not include a procedural assistant component and may vary based on department needs. Schedule: four 10‑hour shifts; No call, no weekends/holidays. Job Summary The Advanced Practice Provider Surgical is an advanced practice nurse or physician assistant working alongside surgeons to ensure optimal patient outcomes across both inpatient and outpatient settings. Responsibilities include pre‑operative assessments, surgical procedures, and post‑operative care. They enhance the efficiency and quality of surgical services and deliver compassionate, comprehensive care throughout the surgical journey. What you will do Perform surgical procedures under supervision or independently, as per scope of practice and credentialing. Provide postoperative follow‑up care, including wound management, suture/staple removal, and patient education. Provide services as appropriate to assigned specialty, which may include ordering diagnostic and laboratory tests, prescribing pharmacological agents, and administering other non‑pharmacological treatment modalities. Provide assessment, evaluation, and management to patients that may include minor, acute, chronic, episodic illness & injuries, and perform follow‑up exams as required. Maintain and review patient records, charts, and other pertinent information, documenting all details in the electronic medical record. Collaborate with physicians and other providers to develop and implement patient care plans to ensure the best possible outcomes.
