Director of FP&A - Wealth Management

JCW Search is partnering with a well-established investment firm and RIA in New York City to hire a Director of FP&A. The role combines financial planning and analysis of the firm's investments with ownership of compensation analysis, and it works closely with senior leadership on strategic decisions.

What you'll do:

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning across the firm and its investment activities
• Analyze investment performance, returns, and revenue drivers to support strategic and capital allocation decisions
• Own compensation analysis and modeling, including advisor and investment team comp structures, incentive and bonus plans, and benchmarking
• Build and maintain financial models, dashboards, and KPI reporting for executive leadership and partners
• Deliver variance analysis and insight on firm profitability, AUM trends, and fee revenue
• Partner with finance, investment, and HR teams internally.

What we're looking for:

• 8+ years of FP&A experience, ideally within asset management, wealth management, or an RIA
• Deep experience with compensation analysis and modeling in a financial services setting
• Strong understanding of investment economics, AUM-based revenue models, and fee structures
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; [Adaptive / Anaplan / BI tools] a plus
• CFA, CPA, or MBA preferred
• Comfortable presenting to senior leadership and translating data into clear recommendations
